- Usually twice a year (before and after Summer School, around May and September) and the budget is given to each centre
- Each centre arranges a social that fits with their team of teachers and Vietnamese staff

- All Southern/ Northern centres have big party to celerbrate the year end.
What is ILA Community Network?
Established in 2005, ILA Community Network (ILACN) is ILA Vietnam’s philanthropic arm. Our mission is to support disadvantaged children access education in and around the communities in which ILA operates across Vietnam.
All operating costs of the ILACN are covered by ILA Vietnam so that 100% of every contribution received goes to supporting ILACN’s mission. Today, ILA Vietnam, through our ILACN arm, continues to be the leading language school in providing sustainable charitable programmes in Vietnam.
What we do?
State-School Sponsorship Programme Providing financial aid to support disadvantaged children access state education 251 Sponsorship provided for 2017/1.
English Scholarship Programme Offering scholarships for children from disadvantaged backgrounds to study English in ILA 225 Scholarships provided for 2017/18.
Working with NGOs Programme Supporting NGOs throughout Vietnam by providing class in shelters and financial support to help the organisations in their operations. 10 NGO partners.
Our NGO partners
Our NGO partners work in numerous locations around Vietnam to help disadvantaged children access education. Blue Dragon Children’s Foundationp, SOS Children’s Villages – Vietnam, Saigon Children’s Charity (SCC), Xuan, Little Rose Warm Shelter, Green Bamboo Warm Shelter, Bung Sang Blind Shelter, Go Vap Orphanage, Centre for Social Protection of Vung Tau Children, Pacific Links Foundation.
Our programmes
State-School Sponsorship Programme
Each year, ILACN sponsors disadvantaged children from Elementary School to University to attend state school. The programme is designed to support children most in need, so we work with our NGO partners, who have the skills and expertise, in allocating the sponsorships to the children.
English Scholarship Programme
The English Scholarship Programme provides 100% scholarships for disadvantaged children so they can study English at ILA completely for free. The disadvantaged children who benefit from the programme are decided through our NGO partners.
Working with NGOs Programme
ILACN provides classes within shelters to help the children there have access to education. The classes are run by dedicated volunteer teachers who work at ILA and each class we provide is to an ILA-standard.
Where our funds come from
Fundrasing Events
ILACN holds are a variety of fundraising events for its staff, parents and even the students. All aimed to raise funds to support its mission to help disadvantaged children access education.
Sponsors
Sponsorships are provided by the staff at ILA centres who chip in together to financially support children to attend state-school. Some members of ILA staff even sponsor children to go to school by themselves.
ILA
Each year, ILA allocates a budget dedicated to supporting its corporate social responsibility activities, ILACN. The funds are used to invest in fundraising events or are as part of direct donations to our NGO partners.
